OUR CLIENT’S CHALLENGE
Sacramento Covered connects individuals and families to the health coverage, primary and preventative care, and other health-related services they need to lead healthy lives. Their goals are to help increase understanding of healthcare issues for uninsured and under-served people; help people overcome challenges that prevent them from getting coverage; educate residents about healthcare options; offer in-person language assistance and provide onsite assistance for patients in local emergency departments.
Sacramento Covered engaged Ten2Eleven to develop and customize a Salesforce instance that would allow users to maintain and store information in a centralized database. After establishing core functionality, Sacramento Covered leveraged Ten2Eleven’s Agile approach to continuous improvement to expand the operational functionality and scope of its instance. Enhancements have included provisioning third parties with limited access to specific data points and the ability to run reports.
Phase 1 – Definition:
The Ten2Eleven development team worked closely with Sacramento Covered staff to define and document their current business processes, challenges and requirements.
Phase 2 – Product Development:
Ten2Eleven developed and customized a Salesforce instance that fit within Sacramento Covered’s current business processes. Additionally, Ten2Eleven recommended and implemented a community portal as a low-cost, efficient solution that would grant third party access to data for ad-hoc analytics.
Phase 3 – Product Implementation:
Once the Salesforce instance was developed and thoroughly tested, the Ten2Eleven team implemented the package.
